Manu Garg - About

I was born in India, in March 1995. I received my M.Tech. degree in Electronics Engineering with specialization in MEMS from Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh, India in 2019. As a part of my M.Tech thesis, I was involved with Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute (CEERI), Pilani, India, and worked on Design, modeling, system level simulations and fabrication of MEMS-based differential capacitive accelerometer.

I am currently pursuing Ph.D. in Microelectronics under prestigious Prime Minister's Research Fellows (PMRF) Scheme jointly from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, New Delhi, India and ICST, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Taiwan. I am currently working on Design, Development and CMOS Integration of MEMS Pirani gauges. My research interests include NEMS/MEMS-based devices and Flexible electronics.

- M.Tech. Intern (CSIR Central Electronic Engineer Research Institute, CSIR-CEERI, Pilani Rajasthan. July 2018-July 2019)
  - - Carried out Masters Dissertation work on Project Entitled “Design, Modelling & System Level Simulation of DRIE-based MEMS Differential Capacitive Accelerometer".
    - Development and Fabrication of MEMS Torsional Accelerometer , sponsored by Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Government of India.

An experienced user of Laser-Writer (Microtech LW-405); Mask Aligner system (EVG 610), HHV Thermal Evaporation System, Keithley 4-probe Characterization System (Model 4200-SCS), RF & DC Sputtering (APT), RIE (Nextral) systems, and Lakeshore Cryogenic probe station (FWP6).
5+Years of working experience in class-100 clean room.
Thorough knowledge of high vacuum systems handling and designing.
Working experience on CAD Tools namely, CoventorWare®, MEMS+, Comsol Multiphysics, NI-MultiSim, Proteus, and L-Edit.
Computer Languages Known: C, Assembly, and basis of VHDL.
