1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Mantra Jaap 108 (the "App") handles information when you use its devotional chanting and progress features. The App is designed to work without creating an account. Your mantra practice records are saved locally on your device, while advertising features use Google Mobile Ads as described below.
2. Quick Privacy Summary
Information type
How it is handled
Mantra and practice records
Stored locally on your device for counters, history, goals, favorites, and session progress.
Account information
Not collected by the App because no sign-in or account is required.
Advertising data
May be collected and shared by Google Mobile Ads to provide ads, analytics, and fraud prevention.
Sensitive device features
The chanting features do not require camera, microphone, contacts, or precise location access.
3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device
To provide the core chanting experience, the App stores the information you create or generate during use. This may include deity or mantra profiles, custom mantra text, target counts, current and total jaap counts, mala completion totals, daily counts, practice duration, daily mala goals, favorite selections, last active mantra, and your sound, vibration, and theme preferences.
These practice records and preferences are stored in local application storage on your device. Based on the current App implementation, they are not uploaded to an operator server, synchronized to an account, or used by the operator for profiling or advertising.
4. Advertising and Google Mobile Ads
The App includes Google Mobile Ads to display banner and interstitial advertisements. Ads may require network access and are provided by Google or advertising partners acting through Google's advertising services.
According to Google's Mobile Ads SDK disclosure, the SDK automatically collects and shares IP address, user product interactions (such as app launches and taps), diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers (such as Android advertising ID and app set ID, where applicable) for advertising, analytics, and fraud-prevention purposes. Google states that this data is encrypted in transit using TLS.

5. Device Features Used by the App
Counting and completion features may use device functionality directly on your device: tapping the screen increments a counter; pressing the volume-up button increments a count only while the counter screen is in the foreground; completion may play a bell sound and trigger vibration if you leave those options enabled.
These device interactions are used to provide the chanting experience. They do not require the App to record audio, access photographs, read contacts, or obtain precise location for its devotional features.
6. How Information Is Used
Locally stored practice data is used to operate requested App features, including counting jaap, displaying mala completion, resuming a mantra, showing daily goals and streaks, presenting history, and preserving preferences between app launches.
Advertising-related data handled by Google Mobile Ads is used by Google and its applicable partners for ad delivery, measurement, analytics, and protection against fraud and abuse, subject to Google's policies and any applicable user choices or consent requirements.
7. Sharing and Sale of Information
The operator does not sell your mantra names, chanting counts, goals, favorites, or locally stored practice history. The App does not provide those devotional records to Google Mobile Ads through its current implementation.
Google Mobile Ads may collect and share advertising-related data as described in Section 4. Google is a separate third-party service provider whose handling of data is governed by its own terms and privacy disclosures.
8. Retention and Deletion
Your locally saved practice records remain on your device until you remove them through available App controls, clear the App's storage in your device settings, or uninstall the App. Resetting a current counter does not necessarily erase lifetime history or prior progress statistics.
Because the App does not create user accounts or maintain an operator cloud database for practice records, there is no operator-held account data to request for deletion. Retention of advertising-related data processed by Google is governed by Google's policies and controls.
9. Your Choices
You may manage mantra profiles and preferences inside the App, turn completion sound or vibration on or off, and remove locally stored App data through deletion controls or your device settings. You may also manage advertising personalization and reset or delete the Android advertising ID through supported device or Google settings, where available.
10. Security
Mantra Jaap is designed to minimize collection by storing devotional practice data locally and not requiring an account. You are responsible for protecting access to your device. For advertising-related transfers, Google states that data collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS.
11. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for general devotional use and is not knowingly designed to collect personal information directly from children. If the publisher later directs the App to children or mixed audiences, the publisher must review applicable child-directed app and advertising requirements and configure advertising services accordingly before release.
12. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when App features, advertising providers, legal requirements, or data practices change. Any revised policy should identify a new effective date and be made available at the published privacy policy URL.
