1st stop of our Man Suang in Bangkok trip: SongWat Road of course!!!
📅 Day 1 - August 23, 2023
📍 Location: Bangkok Samphanthawong district, SongWat Road
It all started with gathering at PLAY arthouse to get the map and official Man Suang goods.
Tho despite us arriving before the opening and queuing, can you imagine most of the goods were Sold Out already... also with the fact that we could only buy one item once.
Couldn't get the presents we wished to bring with for our French fUnclub girls 🥲. Except if we would come back and queue again many times. Tho our schedule was quiet fully packed already.
Another funny fact, when we entered the place, everyone was queuing in a long line for the official goods, so 🐡 Tiana and I went visiting around, taking pictures of the exhibitions in it.
So it might have been a good idea. We did missed some of the goods but after that, the 2nd group came in and the & 1 group went taking pictures all around. It became rather crowded that we were lucky we had pictures with no one in our back.
It was also where we met Lucky, a friend of our dear 🍒 Elsa.
After PLAY Arthouse ... we started with getting lost (again? or already?)
🤫 ... Google Map told us to go that way and we followed it ... but it was also because of my fault because I was running behind Mile, Apo & ManSuang Tuk-tuks to the roundabout point where you had them the most 😅
Now you know, never follow me if you don't want to get lost. 🙈
Tho we got pictures of some Tuk-tuks!!!
The nice part of the story was when we were taking pictures of the Tuk-Tuk, with the permission of the driver, a local lady holding two full water buckets was walking by, asking us who it was.
We explained about (P'-)Mile and Apo and she told us she knows about them. I was about to ask her if I could help her with the water buckets as it seems so heavy for her to have both of them, but she said it was ok.
She then posed next to the Man Suang Tuk-tuk for us, doing Mile's hand sign. 😆 That surprised us because she really knew about them.
And so we finally found Arteasia ~

The staff was so nice to make us feel at home, explaining as well how each of the items are consumed with the ingredients.
And it all ended with "You can also take photos around".
😆 You don't have to tell me that twice!
After Arteasia , we random went on a walk, jumping in all places where a Man Suang poster was glued on the door ( Mesa 312) 😂
That's how we ended up writing some messages on Post-it's to the actors.
And so of course it was decided that we had to go back one time to write messages from our dear Frence fUnclub girls, and be in time for the 16h-18h Song Wat guidebook with Polaroids chance winning sales. Tho I've already said I was not that lucky right?
(😂 We never made it back in time for trying even that out, as the hours had been changed to early morning at openings after that... )

And so Lucky recognized the name of a coffee place where Mile & Apo had an interview during the Man Suang at Song Wat area promotions.

( reminds me when we climbed the hill of Montmartre with Frence fUnclub girls to put the lock as wish to Man Suang success in Paris... 🥲 I feel the girls will take me up there again at next gathering in Paris... )
Even our #monaliPO had some time on the rooftop!
Also for the Opium bar, sadly noone of us were able to drink 🥲 (Me due to my allergies) ... so that was a ❌ since the start.
( 🤪 I'm not saying that I did had some plans to ask my steph brother to go out with his best friend to order the cocktails so I could take pictures of it... but tight schedules... )

After that we ended the 1st day of Song Wat there as jetlag was starting to strike and the next day was the Premiere day of Man Suang.
We wanted to be ready and fully loaded for that.
🤔 Thinking back... we did ended up in Central World for a reason ... as I remember I've spend time running around recording the ads at SF Central Cinema 😅🤣
And we had dinner with my family there as well because after that we went to the supermarket and I started to run around again with the huge Apo Nattawin add was played and my mom went " 🙄 It's only day 1 ... ". 🙈
📅 Day 2 - August 30, 2023
📍 Location: Bangkok Samphanthawong district, SongWat Road
We are back on Song Wat road!!!
With as first stop "HOR FUN (หอฝัน)" for a late lunch.
We wanted to try out their special Man Suang Menu!!!
( which was sold out for the day 🥲 )
So we went with ' à la carte ' choices and sharing some appetizers which all ends up so delicious! 🤤
The place was crowded, so we got a seat more in the back (a bit away from all the Man Suang decorations) tho we had our fun looking around the nice decorations of the place.
The strange fact was that it started to rain really hard and that was the moment when the other people at other tables choose to leave.
Which had the whole place being empty, out of the lovely staff.
I even feared that it was like in Europe, when restaurants are closing from 2PM till 6PM for the evening service, so I asked the staff if perhaps they were closing and that we were disturbing them (as being the last ones remaining.)
It seems it wasn't the case, but we didn't dare to remain to long after eating, so after a nice time there (from the whole Song Wat adventures, this place was my favorite. Thanks to the atmosphere and lovely staff, I felt so welcomed here and the food was delicious! 🤤) we thought it would be better to have the staff have a break, thought it was raining like hell outside.
The staff told us to wait inside, in the now empty Man Suang themed area, till the rain would stop.
🤪 No need to tell me that twice!!! 🤭 Loved the place that much that I can spend hours there to take pictures and film around 55555 ~
It still was raining a bit when we left HOR FUN (หอฝัน) , tho we didn't wanted to disturb the staff to much.
So ehr... we went as usual lost in the streets trying to find some familiar spots of Man Suang Festival back ... as this time we wanted to try to be at Mesa 312 for 4PM to buy the Song Wat Guide book and perhaps (with our -100% of luck) win one of the limited signed polaroids?
Here we go again, walking by the Man Suang Poster wall!!!
( I forgot to take a picture of MonaliPO with the wall the last time, so it was on the day's bucketlist to have it done!! 😹 )
🥲 Mesa 312 system of guidebooks with Polaroid chance winning had changed to early in the morning.
So it wasn't anymore from 4PM till 6PM like it was written on the paper the first time we jumped in.
Tho it was fine... our main reason there was to write a little word of the Frence fUnclub girls and hang with the poster ~

Next stop was supposed to be F.V Cafe, which was sadly closed upon a short notice for the day.
But we did bumped on some nice spots we hadn't seen before 💖
Last stop of the day, where it all started = PLAY arthouse.
The chance for having official merchandise of Man Suang left at that time of the day was low.
Also... I was hoping for any signs of the T-shirts (ends up it would only be in when we are all back in Europe, so far away 😅 ).
