Mansik ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Mansik mobile application (the "App").
The App collects the following personal information that you provide during onboarding:
Name: Your name as entered during initial setup
Language Preference: Your preferred language (English, Urdu, Indonesian, Malaysian, Turkish)
The App stores information about your Umrah sessions locally on your device:
Start and completion dates and times
Step completion status
Progress tracking (Tawaf rounds, Sa'i trips)
Duration of your Umrah
The App does not collect any information automatically. We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising services.
We use the information you provide solely for the following purposes:
To personalize your Umrah guidance experience
To track your progress through the Umrah steps
To maintain your Umrah history
To provide you with relevant content in your preferred language
All data is stored locally on your device. We do not:
Transmit your data to any servers
Store your data in the cloud
Share your data with third parties
Use any cloud-based storage services
Your data is stored using local device storage (Hive database) and remains on your device at all times.
We do not share, sell, or disclose your personal information to any third parties. The App operates entirely offline, and your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share your Umrah summary using the built-in sharing feature.
The App includes a feature that allows you to share your Umrah completion summary. This sharing is entirely optional and controlled by you. When you choose to share:
You select what information to share
You choose the sharing method (messages, email, social media, etc.)
The sharing is handled by your device's native sharing functionality
We do not have access to or control over what you share or with whom
The App requests the following permissions:
None: The App does not require any special permissions. It operates using standard device functionality.
The App uses the following third-party services:
share_plus: A Flutter package that enables sharing functionality. This service only activates when you choose to share content and operates through your device's native sharing features.
Since all data is stored locally on your device:
Your data is protected by your device's built-in security measures
We recommend using device passcodes, biometric authentication, and keeping your device updated
If you uninstall the App, all stored data is permanently deleted
Your data is retained on your device for as long as you have the App installed. You can:
Delete individual Umrah records at any time
Clear all data by uninstalling the App
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete such information.
You have the following rights regarding your data:
Access: You can view all your stored data within the App
Deletion: You can delete individual Umrah records or uninstall the App to delete all data
Correction: You can update your profile information at any time
Portability: Since data is stored locally, you have full control over your data
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
Posting the new Privacy Policy in the App
Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
