Our Story!

Mansfield YBC is a Tenpin Bowling Club for young people under the age of 22. We offer fun, supervised bowling sessions and we provide coaching for members who would like to learn to bowl properly. We are based at Mansfield Superbowl every Saturday morning from 10 am till 12:30 Noon, it costs just £8 per person.

The YBC was started on 9th January 2016 and our aim is to give young people from the local area something fun to do on a Saturday morning that doesn't cost a lot and can help them to make new friends and be successful in sport. 

We have a qualified instructors every week who provides FREE coaching for all club members, no matter what their ability levels are. Bowlers will be taught practice drills and the basics of bowling, learning more techniques each week to help them improve and reach their potential. Our members earn certificates for working hard and achieving target scores, which they can keep as a memento to show how much they have improved.

If members want to bowl more competitively, we will encourage them to enter tournaments which could lead to bowling for the county team and even for Junior Team England. So there is plenty of opportunity to aim high if our members want to get serious about bowling!
