COURSE DESCRIPTION

NLM 202, Nursing Informatics 2, is a course that builds upon the foundational knowledge of nursing. This course focuses on the advanced applications and concepts of informatics in healthcare. Upon successful completion of this course, I  will explore topics such as health information exchange, clinical decision support systems, data analytics, and the role of informatics in quality improvement and patient safety. 

The course emphasizes hands-on experience with advanced healthcare information systems and technologies. Through practical exercises, case studies, and discussions, I will deepen their understanding of how nursing informatics can optimize patient care outcomes and drive positive change in healthcare delivery.
