I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Irving Institute for Energy and Society at the Dartmouth College and at Market Shaping Accelerator. I obtained my PhD from the Paris School of Economics (PSE) and École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (ENPC). My research interests lie in market design, energy economics, and industrial organization. Later this year, I will join IIT Kanpur, India as an assistant professor.
My doctoral research and job market paper focussed on large-scale procurement of electricity production capacity from unconventional sources. I use India as my leading example, where these auctions (a non-trivial variant of treasury auctions) have helped create 140GW of capacity, the fourth largest globally. Using structural methods and auction theory, my paper demonstrates that simple adjustments to the allocation rules in these complex auctions can reduce inefficiency and improve the auctioneer's payoff.
In addition to market design and energy economics, I enjoy exploring political economy and microeconomic theory. When I am not researching, I like to cook and occasionally go on hikes. I have conversational French and have native proficiency in Hindi and English.
