Umbrales was successfully realized and presented for the first time as an immersive audiovisual installation, marking the project's initial public exhibition and proof of concept. This first iteration allowed the work to be experienced by an audience while establishing its artistic, technical, and spatial framework.

The project is now entering its next stage of development. Current efforts are focused on securing funding, institutional partnerships, and exhibition opportunities to further expand the installation and present it in galleries, museums, festivals, and alternative art spaces. As an evolving work, Umbrales is conceived as an adaptable installation that can respond to different architectural contexts while continuing its research into migration, displacement, and the experience of crossing physical and emotional thresholds.

 Echoes of Displacement is an ongoing research-based artistic project that investigates migration as a fundamental human condition rather than an isolated political or geographical phenomenon. Positioned at the intersection of artistic practice and critical research, the project examines how movement, borders, memory, and belonging shape both individual lives and collective histories.

Through a multidisciplinary methodology that combines audiovisual practice, installation, writing, archival research, and fieldwork, the project seeks to understand displacement not only as physical relocation but also as an emotional, cultural, and psychological experience. It questions how identities are continuously negotiated across territories and how traces of movement persist in landscapes, bodies, and memory.
