I was born and raised in South Florida and studied Computer Science at the University of Florida, where I earned my Master's degree. Today, I work as a software engineer at Publix.
Outside of work, I enjoy Nintendo games, cats, and the occasional sweet treat - but what really drives me is helping students succeed in math.
Growing up, I experienced what it's like to have teachers who didn't explain things clearly. I also know how frustrating it can feel to fall behind or hesitate to ask for help in class. The problem with math is that it builds on itself - once gaps form, they only get harder to overcome.
That's why I focus on helping students truly understand the fundamentals and build confidence along the way. Whether your student struggles with focus, second-guesses themselves, or just needs extra support, I adapt each session to meet them where they are.
Math grants people a lot of opportunities like it did for me. I don't think one, or two, or seven bad teachers should stand in the way of your child's future success.
Anyone can be good at math with the right guidance!
