My love of science started in my high school chemistry class.  I loved learning the "how's" of the natural world.  Through scientific learning, we can do our best to make choices that will set us up for success in the future. 

I grew up in Southern California as one of six kids in my family. My wife and I met running high school cross country. Together we moved to northern Utah where we attended Utah State University. I earned my degree in Composite Teaching- Physical Science and she became Dr. Kasin, the audiologist. From college, we moved to Ohio before coming to Albuquerque!

Over the past several years we've travelled far and wide together, visiting 49 of 50 states and a few different countries. We have a love for the national parks, running, biking, and paddle-boarding.

I'm excited to be here and can't wait to share my love for chemistry and physics with you! I hope you're ready to take chances, make mistakes, and get messy!
