Member Info

Membership is open to any adult aged 18+.

2024 Membership costs:

Full year (January - December 2024) $180

Half year (any consecutive 6 months) $100

Associate membership $60  

(An associate membership is valid for 3 months.  The associate member must be accompanied by an active annual member.  An associate member does not have access to the studio door, does not have their own shelf, but has access to all other membership benefits)

 Membership fees can be paid to manningspottersguild@gmail.com. 

*If at any time you want to revoke your membership studio access will be lost. Memberships fees are non-refundable. 

Membership provides you access to the facility at any time unless there is a scheduled private booking of the studio.

Please book your time slot on the TimeTree calendar when you plan to go be in the studio.  

Clay can be purchased from the studio.  Prices are listed in the studio.

As a member you will be awarded one shelf in the facility to store your pieces, clay or tools. Additional space can be purchased for $20.00 and will be reevaluated yearly. Please label your shelf with your name and keep all of your belongings in that space. 

When pieces are complete and ready for the kiln please place them on the designated shelf. 

Please remove finished products in a timely fashion.

Active participation in guild operations and studio housekeeping duties are expected. 

As a member you are responsible for helping to maintain the sustainability of the guild.

Volunteerism and mentorship are an important part of a creative environment. Volunteer participation in Guild activities, projects and sales are encouraged of active members. 

Annual members are responsible for any drop in members or associate members that attend the studio under your membership, this includes the condition and cleanliness of the studio, as well as the firing fees.  It is the annual member's responsibility to recover membership fees or firing fees from anyone under their membership if they wish.  

Non members are individuals looking to try their hand at pottery but are not interested in attending the studio frequently.

Non members must attend with a current active guild member. 

The current drop in fee for use of the facility is $20.00.

Clay can be purchased in smaller portions for $1/lb.  Pre-bagged and labelled.

When pieces are complete and ready for the kiln please place them on the designated shelf. 

Clay, glazing and firing fees are in addition to the drop in fee and will be charged to the annual member who the non members attend with.  

The fee will must be paid in full immediately following the drop in session or the member which you are attending under may be at risk for evaluation.
