Where do I start? The lessons at this site will give you a sneak peek into Tibetan in a way that may be more accessible to English speakers and perhaps less intimidating at first. But for developing real fluency, I encourage you, as your interest and curiosity become sufficiently piqued and your motivation is well-established, to take advantage of the wealth of immersion materials at Esukhia.

• After you have reviewed your objectives and evaluation strategy, read the customs article so that you are prepared for when you enter cultural settings. 

• Speak dialogues aloud - doing this helps you to learn key sentence structures and new vocabulary in context. 

• Find yourself a "language parent" - a native speaker or an advanced learner who you are motivated to talk to and feel safe and happy enough to practice regularly with. 

• Make mistakes - don't be shy to communicate your own sentences in broken language and learn as you go. The mistakes and correcting them are what help pave the neural pathways to fluency. 🥰
