First year exhibitors must acquire a minimum of 6 points to be eligible to sell an animal in Market Animal Sale. All other youth exhibitors must acquire a minimum of 7 points to be eligible to sell an animal in the Market Animal Sale. Each person is responsible for keeping track of his/her eligible activities for the year. The booklet must be completed and turned in or postmarked by August 1 to be considered eligible Market Animal Sale and/or other awards and prizes.

What documents do I need when I drop off animals?

If you do NOT have your paperwork COMPLETE when you pull up, we will kindly ask you to drive around to the back of the line.  Please come prepared!

 1. Animal ID check-in form 

- One copy per species as we have different binders for species.

- Do NOT forget FULL scrapies tag in the Identification column for sheep

- Do NOT forget Premise ID

- Do NOT forget YQCA number

 2. Drug History - MARKET ANIMALS

3. Vet check/Health papers from your vet  - MARKET SWINE

- Verbiage must indicate entire herd was checked over and the herd doesn't show signs of health concerns, not just the animals being exhibited.  (This is mandated by the state).
