Exhibitors must attend one educational meeting (besides a YQCA meeting) to qualify for Market Animal Sale. 

New this year: The Outstanding Senior and Junior Exhibitor Award winners will be eligible to sell a basket at the Market Animal Sale. (This replaces the previous points baskets.) The Junior Division includes 8th grade and under, while the Senior Division includes 9th grade and above. To be considered, exhibitors must submit an application and essay by August 1st (Applications and essay are not available yet.) The committee will select these two exhibitors and winners will be notified at least one week before the fair. The first $100 earned from each basket will go entirely to the exhibitor, with any amount over $100 split 50/50 between the Market Animal Scholarship Fund and the exhibitor. Only baskets may be sold, and no alcohol may be included. 

What documents do I need when I drop off animals?

If you do NOT have your paperwork COMPLETE when you pull up, we will kindly ask you to drive around to the back of the line.  Please come prepared!

 1. Animal ID check-in form 

- One copy per species as we have different binders for species.

- Do NOT forget FULL scrapies tag in the Identification column for sheep

- Do NOT forget Premise ID

- Do NOT forget YQCA number

 2. Drug History - MARKET ANIMALS

3. Vet check/Health papers from your vet  - MARKET SWINE

- Verbiage must indicate entire herd was checked over and the herd doesn't show signs of health concerns, not just the animals being exhibited.  (This is mandated by the state).
