We engineer nanoscale functional materials (with at least one dimension below 100 nm) for use in energy-efficient electronic, magnetic, energy storage and energy harvesting devices. We focus on manipulating metallic alloy and strongly correlated oxide materials, and their spin-ion-charge interactions at nanoscale. The materials are prepared by various state of the art deposition facilities such as DC/RF sputtering, Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD) and thermal evaporation.Â
