Thesis Title: Development of a modified biosand filter for long-term fluoride removal from groundwater using low-cost materials

During my M.Tech. research, I concentrated on the geochemistry of groundwater contamination in Indian aquifers, specifically the development of a low-cost, long-lasting, and eco-friendly household-scale filter for fluoride treatment utilising low-cost materials. This research experience has inspired my interest in environmental engineering and the remediation of contaminants in freshwater sources.
