2. Dr. Shoyeb Shaikh, Dr. Kothari fellow, selected as a faculty of Chemistry at King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
3. Article published by Dr. Shoyeb Shaikh and others in Scientific Reports based on low-temperature based synthesis of TiO2 films with potential perovskite and gas sensor applications received 300 views in 30 days,
4. Book chapter entitled, " Shape controlled Hybrid Nanostructures for Cancer Theranostics ', written by Dr. V. V. Jadhav, Dr. Pritam Shinde and Rajaram Mane, is coming shortly in "Hybrid Nanostructures for Cancer Theranostics".

Social and academic contributions
1. Center initiated a work of repairing and fixing solar street-lights available in SRTMU campus.
2. Center demonstrated two solar related experiments for highly talented students invited for inspired program organized during 26-30 March 2012.
3. Prof. Mane introduced/recommended and placed about 90 researchers so far for Ph. D., Postdocs and visiting fellows/invited scientists abroad and in India.
4. Laboratory supported M. Sc. Physics Farmers scholars examination fee, in addition, to distribution of 1 dozen notebooks each (sponsored by Vishwajeet- Dada Kadam Memorable Foundation, Pune).
