A local grocery store is looking to modernize their cashier onboarding. While they still believe in job-embedded and face-to-face training, there are some skills they'd like cashiers to get some extra practice with before they hit the store. You're helping to develop a series of elearning modules as a part of a blended training initiative on some essential skills.
I created this mobile-facing mircolesson for employees to identify aspects of a counterfeit bill. I'd like subsequent lessons to have bills the learner can virtually mark with an anti-counterfeit pen, hold under a black light, and examine under a magnify glass.
The scores within the lesson show some evidence of learning, but the real measure would be how many fake bills pass through the hands of cashiers. Comparing lost revenue via counterfeit bills pre and post training may create an indicator as would purposefully sending counterfeit bills through randomly as a kind of spot check.
