I compete in the sport of weightlifting (sometimes clarified as Olympic-style weightlifting). This is the snatch and the clean-and-jerk, like you might see in the Olympics. (It is a bit different from powerlifting, which consists of the bench, deadlift, and squat, and is extremely different from body building.)
