Quarter 2 – Words Inspire Change: How can words influence people and society? Students will explore rhetoric, the Civil Rights Movement, and March: Book One by John Lewis, Andrew Aydin, and Nate Powell.

Quarter 3 – Romeo and Juliet: Students will study Shakespeare’s famous tragedy while examining love, conflict, decision-making, impulsiveness, and the consequences of our choices.

Quarter 4 – Identity & Technology: Students will consider how identity, society, nature, and technology intersect, including our study of Cherie Dimaline’s novel The Marrow Thieves.”22W
