I hold a PhD in Public Policy and an M.Phil. in Planning and Development from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai, India. My research engages with social and urban policy in India, primarily examining the political economy of housing and how the state-market-housing interrelations produce social inequality and exclusion. 

Research interests

Public Policy: Social policy analysis, critical policy studies, comparative policy analysis, and research methods for public policy.

Urban Studies: Urban policy, development studies, policy studies, and housing studies.

Academic writing

My research has been published in international journals such as Policy and Society, Housing Studies, Environment and Urbanization ASIA, and the International Journal of Housing Markets and Analysis. I am also engaged in the capacity of Assistant Editor with South Asia Research (an international journal). 

Additionally, I have published policy analysis blogs in leading platforms like the India Forum, CASI University of Pennsylvania, Centre for Policy Research,  and Migrantscape (Aajeevika Bureau).
