Project Title: Electrical Service Design of a floor using AutoCAD considering project requirements.

Project duration: Undergraduate, 3rd Year 1st Semester

Objective: The objective of this project was to design an electrical service drawing based on the parameters and layout of a building floor plan. The project aimed to plan and represent the electrical wiring, load distribution, and placement of electrical components accurately to ensure safe and efficient power distribution.

Learnings:

Gained hands-on experience in designing electrical service drawings based on floor plan parameters.
Learned to plan load distribution, wiring layouts, and placement of electrical components effectively.
Improved understanding of electrical safety standards, circuit planning, and practical design constraints.
Strengthened skills in interpreting architectural plans and translating them into functional electrical designs.

My role in this project: This was a solo project, and I was responsible for all aspects of the work. I independently analyzed the floor plan, calculated electrical loads, and designed the complete electrical service drawing, ensuring proper layout, component placement, and adherence to safety standards.
