Official Fandom / Fan Club / Fan Cafe Name: Hyeppy Ending (ํํผ์๋ฉ)
Founding and Meaning
Kim Hye-yoon's official fan club name, "Hyeppy Ending," sometimes stylized as "HyeppyEnding," is a blend of her name, "Hye-yoon," and the phrase "happy ending." The meaning behind "happy ending" is because she wants to finish everything happily (source) and/or that everything that happens to Actress Hye Yoon is a happy ending (source).
On February 28, 2020 (Source 1, 2), Kim Hye-yoon officially announced her fan club name, "Hyeppy Ending." She first mentioned it publicly during her award acceptance speech at the Asia Artist Awards in 2020, expressing that it felt special to acknowledge her fan club in such a setting.
Drama Fandom / Fan Club Name: Subeom (์๋ฒ)
Founding and Meaning
In the context of the K-drama "Lovely Runner", the term "Subeom" refers to the fandom name for fans of the drama series. The name "Subeom" (์๋ฒ) is derived from the Korean phrase "SolSeonSubeom" (์์ ์๋ฒ), which translates to "leading by example." It was created by combining the names of the lead characters, "Sol" (Kim Hye-yoon) and "Seon" Jae (Byeon Woo-seok), with the last word "Subeom."
It was first acknowledged by Byeon Woo-seok behind the scenes video and later became the official fandom name of the series. There have been several occasions where the lead actors of Lovely Runner (1, 2) have mentioned "Subeom". In addition to her official fan club Hyeppy Ending, Kim Hye-yoon has also included Subeoms numerous times in her 2024 award speeches, starting with the Seoul International Drama Awards.
