The MAMCO corpus is an annotated collection of conversations.

Twelve participants were recruited - 6 females and 6 males. All were Maltese-dominant (albeit bilingual in Maltese and English) university students.

Participants had not met before. They were paired into same-sex and opposite-sex pairs. Therefore, each person participated in two conversations. Participants were asked to get to know each other and were free to select any topic.

The conversations were video-recorded using three different video recorders.  They were transcribed using Praat. The gestural behaviour is being annotated using the ANVIL tool and following the framework defined by the MUMIN coding scheme (Allwood et al. 2007).

The annotations are freely available from https://github.com/PatriziaPaggio/MAMCO.

To obtain the associated recordings, which can only be made available for research purposes, please contact Patrizia Paggio at patrizia.paggio@um.edu.mt.
