Update on April 19, 2023:

I'm incredibly thankful to many of my colleagues and friends and family who donated dollars $$ generously towards my fundraising goal and raised money for HOBY MA! Together they raised $6407.10, exceeding my goal of $5000.

I'm most thankful for my village of family, friends, doctors, physical therapist, chiropractor, and my massage therapist. They donated their time and energy towards making my dream come true.

Before April 17, 2023:

I used to say "I'll never run a (full) Marathon, unless it's the Boston".

A colleague at work offered me an opportunity of a lifetime - to run the Boston Marathon, and fundraise for a wonderful charity that cares about Youth Leadership. Let me introduce you to HOBY (MA).

HOBY – Hugh O’Brian Youth is an organization that was started in 1958. HOBY’s Mission is to inspire and develop our global community of youth and volunteers to a life dedicated to leadership, service and innovation. Their Vision is to motivate and empower individuals to make a positive difference within our global society, through understanding and action, based on effective and compassionate leadership. Why a personal PayPal link? This is the best way to collect funds without paying % overages and transaction fees. I plan to donate the entire sum of money via my employer's giving website which offers a 100% match for HOBY MA. If you would like a receipt for tax purposes, please let me know and I will get one from HOBY MA.
