About

Mama K's Pizza Inc. founders, Jeff and Sherrie Kramer "The Mama K", started the business in January of 2013 in a 15x15 foot commercial kitchen at their rural Stoddard, WI home. Before founding Mama K's Pizza Jeff, who is a La Crosse native, was a union carpenter and later went into the the bar and grill business and Sherrie, a Green Bay native, was a teacher assistant for 10 years and then a kindergarten and early childhood teacher for 15 years. They decided to go into the wholesale pizza business together and  began by selling pizzas to a few bars and gas stations in the La Crosse area. The business quickly outgrew the first three spaces it occupied, making the move to their fourth space in 2019. The Mama K's Pizza - La Crosse, WI business's current production space is about 3000 sq. foot and these days they make more than a 1,000 pizzas a week, distributing them in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa.

In February of 2020, Mama K's Pizza Inc. licensed the secret recipe to Jason Mercord and Sara Schoenrock of Prescott, WI to start a sister business called Mama K's Frozen Pizza - Prescott, WI. Despite launching right at the beginning of the pandemic, Mama K's Frozen Pizza - Prescott, WI was able to sell 3,000 Mama K’s Pizzas in 3 months via the support of their loyal customers, accounts, and local community. They have since been able to expand sales into the Twin Cities and bordering Minnesota area. FYI: Mama K's Pizza Inc. is not affiliated with "Mama K's Pizza and Grille" in Gurnee, IL or any other Mama's Pizza across the country.

In November of 2023, after +10 years in the wholesale frozen pizza business Jeff and Sherrie Kramer retired, selling the Mama K's Pizza - La Crosse, WI business to Shaundel Spivey and his non-profit BLACK — Black Leaders Acquiring Collective Knowledge, who have continued Mama K's legacy of great quality pizza.

Pizzas

Mama K’s Pizza offers three kinds of crust – thick, thin, and gluten-free cauliflower crusts. Pizzas with red sauces and white sauces are available. Sizes available are 9-inch and 12-inch pizzas, and 16-inch pizzas are available upon request. When it was last recorded in 2018, there were 28 varieties of frozen pizza available to the public with a new "Pizza of the Month" being created every month. This is an incomplete list of available Mama K’s speciality pizzas, as some pizzas are only available at certain locations, are seasonal/limited, release, have been discontinued, and/or are only available upon request.
