Mama Bears Cub Care is an in home daycare facility aimed at helping Fairbanks families by providing a warm, loving, learning environment for 6 weeks old - 12 year olds needing childcare. Each child who comes into our home will be loved and cared for as if they are our own children.
My name is Shaunna Shores, I am a Masters Certified educator and I currently hold a valid teaching certificate from Georgia. I am in the process of obtaining my Alaskan teaching certificate. I have always had a passion for teaching, and have experience with children from birth through high school. In Georgia I taught pre-kindergarten and high school students. I am currently the Preschool Partnership Project Coordinator for the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District. I decided to open this daycare because I have seen the need in the community and want to fill it. The experience that I bring to the table means that if you entrust your children to us, they will be well cared for in an environment that is fun, engaging, and will continuously promote the importance of learning.
