In this paper, we first document how the occupational variable DISCO (Danish ISCO) is created by Statistics Denmark (SD) and to which job it pertains. Secondly, we describe basic features of the data such as the number of observations, time trends and transition probabilities. Finally, we propose a couple of (minor) changes to the variable and create across-walk between the two nomenclatures used over the period.
