Hi, I'm Terrence Walker
An educator, coach, and founder of Maltberry Group (Nonprofit). With over a decade of experience in teaching and coaching, I’m passionate about helping youth grow through sports, education, and mentorship while building stronger communities in Brewton and surrounding areas.
Maltberry Group is a nonprofit organization based in Brewton, Alabama, dedicated to empowering youth and strengthening the community through sports, education, and recreational programs. Our mission is to create positive opportunities that promote growth, discipline, and leadership for young people.
The name “Maltberry” comes from the legacy of my late father, Terry “Malt” Walker. His passion for family, community, and uplifting others continues to inspire the work we do today. This organization was built to honor his memory by giving back and creating opportunities for the next generation.
We provide structured programs including youth sports such as track, basketball, and football, along with mentorship and community-based activities that encourage teamwork, confidence, and personal development. Our goal is to offer a safe and supportive environment where youth can stay active, engaged, and on a path toward success.
Serving Brewton and surrounding areas, Maltberry Group is committed to making a lasting impact by investing in the next generation and building stronger community connections.
