Festiglace is the rowdiest ice climbing competition there is. The competition is an enduro format with two 1.5 hour blocks on some of the gnarliest, chossiest rock imaginable. Holds explode. Forearms try to explode. Climbers come from all over the world to throw down.
I was incredibly stoked to begin a relationship with Black Diamond in 2025 after the arrival of the Hydra. My Hydras have accompanied me on Bridalveil, The Fang, Bird Brain Boulevard and many more rewarding climbs.
The 2025 Ouray Ice Fest was my first competition and I managed to nab 6th place. My primary goal was to get onto the comp tower structure, and I managed to do that. Such a fun experience!
In August, I traveled to Albany to try out for the US Ice Team and secured a spot on the women's lead division. I competed in a World Cup in Champagny-en-Venois and then went climbing in Chamonix after.
The LINE Pandora 110 will forever be my favorite pow ski. It was a privilege and an honor to represent this brand as long as I got to! And the UPS Send It suit? All time.
In 2020, I landed an awesome ambassadorship opportunity with Marmot when I filled out an application on their site. For years, I climbed, skied and guided in their kit. Marmot helped me with the funding to take my AMGA Ice Instructor Course, which I will be forever grateful for!
This wasn't intended to be a solo, but when her partner got sick with the Khumbu cough and was unable to continue above 19,000', there were two options: up or down.
