« Il ne faut pas oublier que les stations de radio d’ici, ce sont des stations de musique pop. Certaines paroles ne sont pas acceptées au niveau pop au Québec. Mais comme je dis aux artistes, aujourd’hui, ils n’ont plus besoin de la radio pour se promouvoir »
« Pour les artistes, c’était leur seule visibilité ; les radios ne voulaient rien savoir »
« Il y a encore de la résistance contre le hip-hop, et les artistes qui vont jouer à la radio, ce ne sont pas les artistes noirs. Mais ceux qui ont lancé le hip-hop, ce sont des Noirs, tout comme ceux qui le font bouger. Mais ce n’est pas l’image qu’on donne aujourd’hui»
