Biographical Sketch:

MALIK AL-AMAYREH was born in Germany, on October 09, 1981. He received the Ph.D. Degree from the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg, Bayern, Germany in 2013. He received B.S. degree and the M.Sc. degree from the Mechanical Engineering Department, University of Jordan, Amman, Jordan, in 2004 and 2007, respectively. Currently he is working as an Associate professor at the Alternative Energy Technology Department at the Alzytoonah University of Jordan and working as a topic editor in frontiers in energy research Journal. His research interests include the applications of thermal fluids systems, and alternative energy. Dr. Alamayreh got a CICOPS fellowship in 2017 at the University of Pavia as visiting research professor. He has a record of 23 publications in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences. Simulation of the electric arc plasma in train electrical contactor. The movement of the electric arc plasma controlled by two permanent magnets and two coils installed near the electrodes. The arc plasma itself feeds the coils with current. The arc plasma velocity increases if more current is allocated in the arc plasma.

Developing a high efficiency nozzle wind turbine discussed in this research. The nozzle can increase the upstream speed of the wind speed three times leads to an increase of rated power level. It was considered in the design that the nozzle can rotate with wind direction thanks to the tail located at the end of the nozzle structure. The results show the power levels for cases turbine with or without nozzle. The design discussed the design of the wind turbine tail and its impact on the stability of the wind turbine.

Oil shale pyrolysis process utilizing a solar parabolic dish reflector (PDR). The results compared oil shale pyrolysis occurring with air, water or kerosene.
