HISTORY
There are countless different versions from different people on how the Institute was built many years ago but one thing they were certain about was to where the wide land came from in which they raised the school.
The land was donated by the famous and richest clan of “Familia Abizo” long years ago. They offered and gave their land with the intention of helping the unfortunate children to achieve their dreams. Year 1951, they put up four rooms and they called it as A-10 Marcos Building and divided it among the students. Since then, the population of Malhacan was increased and as well as the number of enrollees under the supervision of Mr. Mariano Cruz.
After Mr. Cruz, he was replaced by Mr. Castro. Under his supervision, additional buildings were built from the donations of those people who are powerful and have capacity to help.
Year 1968 under the supervision of Mr. Serafin de Ere and Mrs. Trinidad Zamora, Malhacan School was continued to grow. A-2 Marcos Type Building was established with the help of the government, other buildings like B-1 DECS Building was built on 1969 and now being used as Home Economics Room.
Year 1972, three additional buildings were built, the A-1 Multi-Purpose Building, A-11 R.P. U. S. Bayanihan Building where in the Grade 5 students are staying and the A-3 Eastex Building where in the Grade 2 students are using. They also built the A-6 Bagong Lipunan Building in the year 1983 and now being used by Grade 3 students. After one year, A-7 Bagong Lipunan 2 Building was built. In the same year, Mrs. Paulina Soriano became their school principal. They continued to build new building like C4-Special Building and now being used as storage room for drums and lyres.
Year 1986, Mrs. Bergania Liwayway became their new principal. As expected, one building was added the A-9 Bagong Lipunan 2 building. She was replaced by Mrs. Zenaida Calica in year 1996 eventually Mrs.Zenaida Gonzales took charge as their “OIC”, and then year 1997 new principal came in by the name of Mrs. Norma Peralta. Like what happened to the previous principals, lots of changes took place in the school. They have built the A-15 Philippines 2000 and A-17 FFCCC Building.
Ms. Clarita Violago came in as their new principal from year 2003 up to 2007. In her times the renovations continued and made the school well developed. She retired in year 2007 and immediately was replaced by Dr. Rufino P. Santos. September 20, 2010 to January 20, 2015, Mrs. Theresa Sevilla served as Principal III of this school.
