We men are interesting to study when it comes to psychology. We might make it out to appear that we're always straight-forward, clear cut and no-nonsense but in reality, a lot of what we say either is self-contradictory or simply illogical. For example, we might say that we hate buying you gifts, Social Media Girls Forum but if we really hated it, why are we still together with you? Why do we keep buying them for you? I mean sure, you could say that to an extent we do it because our arm is twisted into doing it, but still. This is free country. We could simply walk away. So why don't we? The reason will astound you.
1. We Love You
Yes, we love you. That is why we buy you expensive gifts. I'm going to take it one step further though. Unless we buy you expensive gifts, we can't love you. That's right, we're emotionally unable to love you if you don't ask us to buy you expensive gifts.
This might seem crazy, so let me explain the logic behind this. Since the stone ages, us guys have always been the ones who have been the providers, right? If we provide for our woman, we feel happy. The more we're able to provide the happier we are.
2. Validate Us
Fast forward to now. Nothing's changed, except for the method in which we validate ourselves. Instead of hunting and bringing back Social Media Girls Forum enough food to survive, by going out and being able to make you, our wife, happier, we are also feeling happier ourselves.
Of course, acknowledgement is important. If you don't acknowledge our efforts, it doesn't matter if we bring you back a diamond. We'll just take it back to where we got it from and forget that it ever happened.
3. No Love
If you don't ask us to buy you expensive things, that's OK. That doesn't mean that we're unable to love you. However, our provider instinct still has to be satisfied and indeed it does get satisfied when you appreciate our other efforts to provide for you.
Emotional support for example is another way that we can provide for you. If we know that you like hand painted drawings and we spend time and effort with a hand painting and it makes you cry with joy when you receive it, that will make us feel validated and happy.
See, male psychology is sort of funny. Hopefully now you realize that we men have to be challenged when it comes to your love. Social Media Girls Forum If we don't earn it and if you don't acknowledge it, we simply can't love you, no matter how much we provide for you.
