Our First Gathering

We had our first official gathering at Swich Sunway Pyramid LG2 on 23 May 2026. Swich has gracefully allowed us to host our first stamping event here. They even offer us 10% discount on all food and beverages consumed there. The staff was amazing as well as they asked us if we needed anything during our stay there.

I came very early in the morning to prepare and I was surprised that they are some who came even earlier and waited there for the event. They helped me set up the place by putting plastic sheet over the table so that we won't stain the table with inks.

And then more and more participants poured in and I was amazed at the amount of stamps each and everyone brought along during the gathering. 

All personal stamps and we were able to exchange these stamps and spent nearly the whole time in the cafe. I have also planned an activity which is texture stamping and I asked Sunway Management for special permission to do it there. We used Faber Castell kneadable eraser to capture the texture. They get to keep it and do texture stamping for their next big adventure.

All-in-all, it was truly, an amazing gathering. We chatted and talked about all things stamps and 3 hours was just not enough. From 10.30am to 1.30pm and some were reluctant to leave and still chatting away. 

There's even the Malaysia-Taiwan IP event and stamp hunters were able to go and collect even more stamps from the various artists there. Truly grateful for this community and everyone was really helpful and friendly. 

This is the kind of spirit that we want in the community and hope that it continues to stay that way. Stay tuned for the next event.
