KF Production (owned by Mun Kek Fu) built the Malaysia Calendar app. This policy covers the app on both Google Play and the Apple App Store, and explains what the app does and does not do with your information.
The short version: we have no accounts, no servers and no database. We do not collect, store or transmit your personal information. The only company that receives any data from this app is Google, through the advertising it serves.
Information We Collect
None. The app has no sign-in, no user account and no backend service of our own. Every holiday, lunar, Hijri and Tamil date the app shows is built into the app itself, which is why it works with no internet connection.
Your Calendar
With your permission, the app reads events from your device's calendar so it can show how many of your own events fall on each day. This happens entirely on your device. Those events are never sent to us, never stored anywhere outside your device, and never shared with anyone.
When you choose to add a holiday to your calendar, the app passes that single event to your device's own calendar. On Android it opens your calendar app with the details filled in, and you confirm it there. On iOS it is added through the system calendar with your permission.
You can refuse or withdraw calendar permission at any time in your device settings. The rest of the app continues to work; only the per-day event count stops appearing.
Your Settings
Your chosen language, state and weekend days are saved on your device so the app remembers them. They stay on your device and are not collected by us.
Advertising
This app is supported by advertising. Ads are served by Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK, which on Android is delivered as part of Google Play services. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect and process information such as advertising and device identifiers, approximate location derived from your IP address, and information about how you interact with ads. That collection is Google's, and is governed by Google's own privacy policy:

On Android, Google may use your Google Advertising ID and Android's advertising services to serve and measure ads. You can reset that identifier, or turn off ads personalisation, in your device settings under Settings > Google > Ads.
On iOS, the app does not ask for permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites, and therefore does not use the Apple advertising identifier (IDFA). You can review app tracking settings under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
The app does not request location permission and has no access to your precise location.
Depending on where you are, Google may show a consent or privacy options message before ads are personalised. Your choice there is handled by Google.
Analytics and Crash Reporting
None. The app contains no analytics SDK, no crash reporting service and no Firebase services. We receive no reports about how you use the app.
Internet Access
The app requests internet access for one purpose: to load advertisements. No calendar data, no settings and no personal information is transmitted to us.
Children
This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will act on it.
Data Retention and Deletion
We hold no data about you, so there is nothing for us to retain or delete. Information kept on your own device is removed when you uninstall the app. If you have any question about data associated with this app, contact us at the address below and we will respond. Security
Because the app stores nothing off your device and sends nothing to us, none of your personal data is in our possession to be exposed.

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
