Adil Halim earned his Bachelor In Music Performance from UiTM in 2009. His drumming career starts off in 2004 by joining Sevencollar T-Shirt, a well-known established indie band in Malaysia. In 2008, he was invited to work with Yuna performing various live shows such as Singapore Jazz Festival in 2015, MTV World Stage 2014 and Yuna and National Symphony Orchestra in 2013 (Istana Budaya). With his experience performing he was also invited to perform for several musical productions such as Terima Kasih Cinta(2011), The Secret Life of Nora(2011) and Puteri Gunung Ledang in Concert(2015), Opera Puteri Saadong(2015), Ola Bola The Musical(2018/2019), Bangsawan Dendam Laksamana(2017/2018) and Teater Tanjong(2022). Besides drumming, Adil is also one of the founder of No Noise Percussion, a contemporary percussion group performing various music festivals and corporate shows in Malaysia and Singapore. Being an active musician, Adil has been involved with many side projects, recording sessions and live performances with local artists such as Pastel Lite, Hani & Zue, Bil Musa and Halfway Kings.
Besides performances and production, Adil has also been invited to conduct drum and percussion masterclasses. UITM, UPSI, Heartbeart, Goodkids, Tiny Forest, Rakan Muda and NNP Music are among the universities and NGO societies that Adil has collaborated for. During the pandemic, Adil has initiated a online sharing session named "Drum Roulette Sessions" and this project is the main inspiration for Malaysia Drum Day 2022.
Adil is currently working as a full time drummer and percussionist for Radio Television Malaysia's orchestra(ORTM) performing various government and corporate concerts and he is also currently a part time lecturer at the Faculty of Music, UiTM.
