I am a legal scholar with expertise studying the societal impacts of technology. I am trained in information systems, public policy and law. This helps me translate technical concepts and social phenomena across different audiences.
My career over 16 years spans experience in the private sector with a global law firm in London, and in policy roles for publicly-funded and non-profit organisations. From 2016 to 2020, I founded and led the Future of Finance Initiative to study critical regulatory issues for technology and inclusion in India, for Dvara Research in partnership with the Gates Foundation.
Currently, I'm based in London where I recently defended my PhD at the London School of Economics and Political Science, examining rule of law issues in the automated state.
Since December 2025, I have been a Research Fellow at the University College London (UCL), studying the liability of autonomous decision systems.
