OVERVIEW OF THE COURSE
This course is for teachers in primary and secondary schools in any parts of the globe and it will empower them to design captivating lessons that resonate with students, foster active participation, and enhance learning outcomes. Participants will learn how to transform traditional teaching into dynamic, interactive experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and long-lasting knowledge retention.
It's important you thoroughly read ALL THE INFORMATION available on this page before starting your course to avoid being disadvantaged.
Modules: There are three modules in the whole course.
Course Title: Making Your Lessons Come Alive: Designing Captivating Lessons.
Module 1: Understanding Engagement in Learning.
Module 2: Designing Interactive and Experiential Lessons.
Module 3: Implementing Innovative Teaching Techniques.
There are subtopics under each module with supporting videos to enrich your learning experience. You are to get a learning jotter for attempting some reflective activities and to serve as your journal. Depending on the device you are using, you may need an earpiece for a better audio output when watching the videos available.
How to Navigate Your Course App
There are two options available for navigating the contents on this site successfully.
Use of the the MENU BAR. The MENU BAR are the three (3) horizontal lines on either the top right or left side of your device. If you click on it you will see a drop down of topics to choose from e.g. Home, Module 1, Module 2, Module 3, Quick test, Support, etc. See a picture of the Menu Bar below:

2. Use of Clickable Buttons: You will see the buttons at the end of each page on this site. All you need to do is click on them to move to either the next or previous page. However, where the buttons do not exist, use the MENU BAR option to navigate your course contents.
COURSE FORMAT:
The course was created using the following format:
Texts.
Curated videos.
Engaging units of reflective activities like questions, tasks, or the like. You may have to have a dedicated jotter to record some of your tasks during your course.
Photos, if any.
ASSESSMENT
There are two sets of assessments in the course:
Formative: This comes within each module or topic under each module.
Summative: This comes at the end of the whole course and must be completed to get your e-certificate of completion.
It's only the participants who take the assessment that will get their certificates of completion.

PRE-COURSE REFLECTIVE ACTIVITY
Using your learning jotter, write down your expectations from this course.
On a scale of 1-10, 1 being the lowest and 10 as the highest, rate yourself in terms of yourself in terms of how smart you are in planning and teaching your lessons. After completing your course, you will redo this activity and compare your results.
