About this Project

This webpage was designed by Cadette Girl Scout Adelina Peterson as part of her Girl Scout Silver Award Project to save the turtles and educate the public about turtles in Windham, New Hampshire. As part of the project, Adelina got permission from the Windham Board of Selectmen to install turtle awareness temporary yard signs on 19 Windham roads (not state roads) where turtles cross. The yard signs were donated to the NH Turtle Rescue to be used in other turtle crossing locations.
