By booking a makeup session you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms are in place to ensure clarity and mutual understanding between both parties for a seamless and professional experience.

Right to Refuse Service

I retain the right to refuse service to any client who shows aggressive or rude behavior or presents with any conditions that may affect the health or safety of either party. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

• Aggressive, abusive, or disrespectful behaviour

• Contagious conditions (e.g., conjunctivitis, cold sores, rashes, flu-like symptoms, etc.)

• Skin infections or open wounds that may pose a risk of infection

If you are feeling unwell or have any conditions that may prevent a safe and professional service, please reschedule your appointment. Full payment will still be required in cases where service is refused.

Booking and Payment

• A 50% non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your booking. This deposit will be applied toward the total cost of your service. The remaining balance is due on or before the day of the service. Payments can be made via bank transfer, cash or card.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

• Cancellations: If you wish to cancel your appointment, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled session are required to pay the remaining balance.

• Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule, please do so with at least 5 days notice. Rescheduled appointments are subject to availability.

• No-Show Policy: Failure to show up to a scheduled appointment without prior notice will be required to pay the remaining balance and to pay the full amount of their next service upon booking.

Late Arrivals & Grace Period: I offer a 15-minute grace period for late arrivals. After 15 minutes, your appointment will be canceled, and the full service fee will apply. Please notify us if you’re running late.

Allergies and Health Concerns

• Disclosure: Please inform us of any allergies, skin sensitivities, or medical conditions prior to your appointment. This is especially important if you have any known reactions to cosmetic products or ingredients.

• Limitation of Liability: Makeup By Emma Donovan is not liable for any allergic reactions, skin irritation, or other health issues that may occur as a result of products used during your session.

Photography and Social Media

• Consent for Photography: By booking a session with Makeup By Emma Donovan, you consent to the taking of photos before, during, and after the makeup application. These photos may be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media and our website
