In order to provide a vast number of programs, events, and items to our school, we request that each family & staff member at Makefield Elementary School annually contribute dues to the Makefield Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization (MESPTO).
The $25 annual dues per family are separate from the fundraisers we offer during the course of the year. Dues help ensure that we have a minimum amount of seed money to fund PTO activities including, but not limited to:
· Art and Author Night
· Assemblies
· Back to School Picnic
· Bare Books
· Classroom Contributions
· Day of Service
· Artist & Author Night
· Field Day
· Learning Garden
· Technology Contributions
The annual dues are considered a donation. Since MESPTO is a non-profit 501(c)(3)organized by the IRS, the dues are tax deductible. Please save your receipt as a record of your donation.
Corporate Matching Gift Programs: Are you employed by a company with a matching gift program for charitable giving? As a non-profit, MESPTO can accept matching gifts and many companies will match the $25 dues donation. Please contact MESPTO Treasurer, Faithann Barron faithannbarron@gmail.com for more information.
