# Privacy Policy — Stop Call Advanced
**Effective date:** 2 May 2026
**Developer:** Mohd. Arshi Khan
**Contact:** info.mohammadarshikhan@gmail.com
This policy explains what data Stop Call Advanced (the "App") accesses on
your device, what it does with that data, and what it does not do. It is
written in plain language to match exactly what the App does — please read
it before installing.
## Summary
- The App **does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data**.
- The App **has no servers, no analytics, no advertising, no third-party
trackers**, and no network access of any kind.
- Everything you see in the App — your block lists, your blocked-call
history, and your settings — is stored only on your device.
- Uninstalling the App permanently removes all of its data.
## What the App accesses on your device
The App requests the following Android permissions, and uses each one only
for the purpose listed.
- **Contacts (`READ_CONTACTS`).** When a call comes in, the App looks up
the caller's number in your address book to determine whether the caller
is a contact, a favorite (starred contact), or unknown. This is needed
for the filter modes you choose ("Block all unknowns," "Block favorites,"
etc.). Contact data is not stored by the App and never leaves the device.
- **Phone state (`READ_PHONE_STATE`).** Used to read the incoming caller's
number so the App can decide whether to block the call.
- **Call screening role (`ROLE_CALL_SCREENING`).** When you grant the App
the Call Screening role on your device's settings prompt, Android
delivers each incoming call's details to the App's on-device service.
The service decides whether to block based on your filter rules and the
block lists you have created. The decision is made entirely on the
device. No call content (voice, audio) is recorded or accessed.
- **Post notifications (`POST_NOTIFICATIONS`).** Used only to display a
local notification on your device when a call is blocked. No
notifications are sent through any cloud service.
- **Receive boot completed (`RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED`).** Used to refresh
the App's home-screen widget after your device restarts. No data is
collected.
- **Vibrate (`VIBRATE`).** Used to vibrate your device when a call is
blocked, if you have enabled the vibrate option.
The App **does not** request the call log, microphone, location, calendar,
SMS, or any storage permission.
## What is stored on your device
The App keeps three things, all locally and only on your device:
1. The block lists you create (numbers, optional names, and prefix
patterns).
2. A local history of calls the App has blocked, with timestamp and
reason.
3. Your settings (which filter mode is active, whether notifications and
vibrate are enabled).
These are stored in the App's private storage area using Android's
standard local-database (Room/SQLite) and preferences (DataStore)
mechanisms. They are not accessible to other apps and they are not
synchronized to any cloud service.
## What the App does **not** do
- It does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data.
- It does not connect to any server operated by us or anyone else.
- It does not contain any advertising SDK, analytics SDK, crash-reporting
SDK, or third-party tracking SDK.
- It does not record, listen to, or transcribe any phone call.
- It does not read your call log, SMS, or any other messaging app data.
## How to delete your data
Uninstalling the App removes all data the App has stored on your device,
including your block lists, blocked-call history, and settings. There is
no separate deletion request to make because there is no off-device data
to delete.
## Children's privacy
The App is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect any personal
information from children under 13 (in line with COPPA in the United
States) or under 16 (in line with GDPR-K in the European Union). Because
the App does not collect any personal information from anyone, this is
the case by design.
## Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, the updated version will be
published on the App's listing page on Google Play with a new effective
date. Continued use of the App after a change indicates acceptance of the
updated policy.
