👥 Meet the 2025–2026 PTA Board
Ashley is a passionate advocate for building stronger school communities. As PTA President, she brings vision, organization, and a deep love for student success. This is her third year serving as President on the board. She’s a proud parent of a 3rd grader and a 5th-grader.
Cindy brings both heart and hustle to her VP role. She supports PTA initiatives, helps coordinate events, brings a wealth of institutional knowledge, and serves as a connector between committees. Cindy is a grandmother to a 3rd and 4th grader.
Naquia keeps our PTA organized with clear communication and detailed records. She also co-leads our fundraising efforts and helps plan creative ways to support our school financially. She’s a mom of one and a natural community builder.
🟦 Treasurer: Shannon Norwood
Shannon is serving on the Executive Board for the first time this year as our treasurer, where she helps keep the budget on track and our fundraising efforts focused. In addition to managing finances, she also co-leads both the fundraising and yearbook committees—bringing creativity, organization, and heart to everything she does. Shannon is a media professional and proud mom to a spirited first grader at MAJ!
LaQuanta ensures our meetings run smoothly and our PTA remains in alignment with bylaws and procedure. In addition to her role as parliamentarian, she serves as MAJ's Parent Liaison, being deeply involved in parent engagement efforts at the school.
