Welcome to my website. I am an Assistant Professor at Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.

I am affiliated with the Centre for Management in Agriculture, Brij Disa Centre for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Misra Centre for Financial Markets and Economy, and, Public Systems Group.

I received my Ph.D. in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.

My research focuses on topics in accounting, development economics, environmental economics, financial economics, and management.

My research is motivated by core welfare and managerial questions, often studied in development contexts where institutional frictions and resource constraints are most salient. I am also interested in how emerging technologies, especially data and AI, shape decision-making, organizational performance, and broader economic outcomes. By bridging micro-level behavior with macro-level welfare, I try to inform both theory and practice.
