Who is Maitre Maram Abidi?
SWORN TRANSLATOR/INTERPRETER
A Young Sworn Translator/Interpreter in English language before the Tunisian Justice Ministry, recognized by Courts, Embassies, and Consulates in Tunisia and abroad. Assigned to the jurisdiction of the Appeal Court of Monastir, by vertue of the Tunisian Justice Minister on March 18, 2025. Took the oath in a public session on April 16, 2025. Graduated from the Higher Institute of Languages of Moknine Monastir with English Translation Major on 2023. Worked as an Associate Translator and Reviser in a Sworn Translation Office for 3 years. Experienced in Translation proceedures.
A sworn translator is an authorized professional who provides certified translations of official documents. Their translations carry legal validity and are accepted by courts, government offices, and official institutions.
How long does sworn translation take?
Usually sworn translation take from 24h to 72h but it may take some more time according to the availability of the translator or the type of submitted documents .
How do I receive my documents?
Printed papers are always available but if scanned documents needed it can be provided.
NOTE: Please mention that you need a PDF version before taking your documents from the Office.
How do I submitt my documents?
Original document or a True Certified copy by the Municipality or the Court SHOULD be presented
NOTE: A simple copy of a document is not accepted unless there’s a rational reason and its is going to be mentioned in the translated document
How do you pay?
If present Cash payment
If not the case Bank transfer is accepted + Postal Shipment fees (If documents are sent by post)
What languages do we translate to?
MAITRE MARAM ABIDI is officially sworn in English-Arabic language an vice versa but we can provide French, Italian, Spanish, and German sworn translations by colleagues “Sworn Translators”
Do I need to legalize my documents?
The answer is YES, to avoid any fraud, visa disapproval, procedure delay or any type of rejection
Do I need to present the original document?
The answer is YES, translation should be done on an original document or a true certified document done by competent authority “Municipality or court”
