For first time clients, I confirm some details with you to understand your dog/dogs grooming history, coat conditon, behaviour, health concerns and the style, or service your needing. I also confirm your location to ensure I cover that area.

This helps us ensure your dog receives the most suitable grooming experience from the very first visit and that your grooming fee reflects what you actually need - not based on a guess or average price list.

Grooming prices are quoted depending on coat condition, breed, size, temperament and time required.

On the day if there is a variation to your groom you will be advised at the time of the groom. Reasons this may occur include unknown condition, matted coats or a change in the groom itself.

Grooming schedules are programmed based on your needs, these are normally spaced at 4, 6, 8 and 12 weekly appointment intervals.

A works groom clip consists of warm hydroabth x 2 baths, in premium or breed / coat specific shampoos, conditioing of the coat and skin and rinse clean. Nail and dew claw trim, ear cleaner (epiotic). Towel dry / blow dry. Full clip to the body of the coat itself in a pre discussed length or preference of finish. Clip and or trim the face, feet, bottom and groin areas, Tidy the ears and tail. Groom through and tidy and deodorise with quality colognes. This service is also known as a full groom.

There are two variations. Style or breed clip and comfort clip. Style clips are fashion clips such as teddy clips, breed specific clips for example Schnauzer or Cockers. These require more regular grooming and comfort clips which suit any breed and are often best for active dogs, elderly dogs, summer and spring and for dogs with skin problems requiring maintenance.

A De Shed hydrgroom service consists of warm hydrobaths x 2 , using specific De shedding products designed to "open" and "close" the coat in a process which assist the coat to "release", then rinse and finish the coat with products to further assist in the loose coat release.
