Maisemat is a union of three international musicians that aims to explore the unique soundscapes present at the depths of the human mind. The trio is comprised of Pasquale Rinaldi (Italy), Nathan Francis (USA) and Daniele Patton (Italy) each of whom bring a wealth of international performing experience to the group’s unique sound.

The band was formed in Helsinki, Finland where the three improvisers first met and thus Maisemat, which means ‘Landscapes’ in Finnish, was born. The three travelers have joined forces to present a program of new original music composed by the members of the band. The original compositions have received international attention for their uniquely captivating and nature. Each piece is designed to guide the listener on a journey through the human condition, stopping at the depths of despair and culminating in the peak of euphoria. Their original approach to storytelling has already led to to performances trough European countries. In June 2019, Maisemat won the competition “JAM THE FUTURE, Music for the Planet”, organized by Volvo & JazzMI in Milan (Italy). The Album “Maisemat” was also launched with an Italian Tour in october 2019.

Maisemat are now working on new music for their second album and preparing for the upcoming tours in Summer and Autumn 2020.
