Our nature has been under threat. The assault on the natural world comes from varied directions but particularly from harmful human activity. Civilizations and advancement of the human race have come at the expense of our environment and biodiversity. The environmental damage has reached a level that, unless take an action, the damage will be irreversible and will leave no nature for the next generation. Today, every daily choice creates a carbon footprint on the environment. Currently, the level of the environmental damage may not be compensated, but it is still possible to take cautions and alternative solutions that everyone is comfortable with and participates in equally. Our students should be able to perceive the importance of environmental issues and be ready to take responsibility for a sustainable future. The nature of the problem requires finding global solutions. The exchange of information between students from Turkey and Europe carries a critical importance.
