What is Maine Education 2050?
Maine ED 2050 is a statewide community research and engagement project to bring community members, industries, educators, and youth together to discuss how education and schooling can be designed for personal, civic, and economic thriving in the next few decades.
Maine ED 2050 uses small group conversations and the power of artificial intelligence (AI) to lift up voices from all over Maine. Your voice will inform legislators, school boards, education organizations, and business in a collaborative renewal of our system of education. Change is here to stay: let's plan for it. We want to include your voice in the conversation!
How can I get involved?
Sign up to join a group of 4 to 6 other Mainers for a guided discussion.
Invite your organization, community, school, or circle of friends to participate in a conversation.
Sign up to host a conversation. We provide a facilitator and everything else you need!
Sign on as a collaborating organization to spread the word.
Support the project by becoming a sponsor. We need your Maine business to help make this project possible by sponsoring at a variety of levels.
Sign up for a conversation!
Collaboration is what we need to renew our system for the future. It starts here!
Maine Education 2050 is now a project of University of Southern Maine's Center for Education Policy, Applied Research, and Evaluation (CEPARE).
