About MCRP

Maine Community Relief Program is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on addressing food access barriers affecting households and individuals throughout Penobscot County.

The organization was established to help strengthen community food accessibility through flexible support systems, community partnerships, delivery-focused assistance models, and coordinated resource support designed to reach households that may face challenges accessing traditional food assistance services.

MCRP is currently focused on organizational growth, partnership development, operational preparation, and funding expansion as the organization prepares for broader service implementation and long-term community impact.
